durante tantos años -este año será el undécimo- ha supuesto una experiencia gratificante para todas las integrantes del grupo TIRAW que hemos sobrevivido(actualmente somos cinco).Se han superado cantidad de obstáculos,tanto los que presenta la vida en general,como la enseñanza pública, en particular.No ha sido fácil el camino, ya que la creación de un grupo de trabajo estable lleva consigo reuniones fijas a día y hora establecidos, los cuales a veces resultan difíciles de concretar.Si a todo esto añadimos los avatares de la vida,como los nacimientos de hijos,las enfermedades,los cambios de domicilio y de centro escolar -incluso de ámbito de CAP-,todo juega en contra.Sin embargo, las supervivientes que lo hemos conseguido hemos superado todas las dificultades, que no han sido pocas, y nuevas tecnologías se van implantando día a día, y sentimos la curiosidad de navegar por Internet para ofrecer a nuestros alumnos nuevos recursos. Como resultado de esa busqueda surgió el trabajo <em>Squeeze the mouse!</em> Analizamos algunas páginas webs para poder trabajar con ellas en nuestras respectivas aulas, compusimos materiales y recursos diferentes, todo ello facilitado por la conexión a Internet que existe hoy en día en nuestros colegios.<br />Dada la importancia de los aspectos socioculturales en el estudio de una segunda lengua, creímos conveniente elaborar tres grandes unidades que se desarrollaran a lo largo de tres cursos lectivos, durante los cuales tratamos de ampliar contenidos que hasta ese momento se trabajaban escasamente en el aula.<br />El primer aspecto fue el que llevaba como título <em>Nursery Rhymes</em>; el segundo fue el denominado <em>Games in the playground</em>; y se finalizó con <em>A new festival: Back to School.</em><br />Estas tres grandes unidades nos sirvieron de vehículo para desarrollar actitudes positivas hacia tradiciones y celebraciones de otros niños y niñas del mundo, utilizándose la adquisición de una segunda lengua, el inglés como área multicultural importante en la sociedad actual.<br />En el curso escolar 2004-2005, con la introducción del Sistema Bilingüe en la C.A.M, decidimos elaborar un material para el área de Conocimiento del Medio en inglés. Así surgió nuestro trabajo <em>Tiraw Resources</em>.<br />Respondiendo a la demanda que veíamos en nuestros centros para celebrar distintos eventos a lo largo del curso escolar, elaboramos distintas dramatizaciones, obras de teatro cortas, rimas y canciones, que utilizamos en ocasiones tales como Navidad, <em>Halloween,</em> Semana Cultural. Así nació Plays. La dramatización y el teatro se justifican en la didáctica de la lengua inglesa porque se trata de actividades que refuerzan la importancia de la palabra en su contexto.<br />A lo largo de estos años siempre pensamos viajar a Londres para encontrar materiales y hacer una pausa en nuestra vida diaria, si bien nunca lo conseguimos, de tal modo que decidimos viajar, pero... virtualmente con nuestros alumnos. Visitamos monumentos, los dibujamos, aprendimos canciones, nos movimos por la ciudad, tomamos té y compramos souvenirs y nos montamos en un bus lleno de bichos <em>The wheels on the bus</em> alrededor de Londres.<br />Y llegamos al momento actual, donde inmersos en las nuevas tecnologías, usaremos éstas para reciclar todos nuestros anteriores trabajos y obtener como resultado uno que hemos denominado<br /><em>Feedback Tiraw Resources</em>, con el cual trataremos de dar un aire nuevo a nuestros anteriores trabajos utilizando todos los programas informáticos que ésten a nuestro alcance.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/9151495966237600504-6313082049340365412?l=tirawgroup.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Tirawgrouphttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01448948974314622876noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9151495966237600504.post-46209947965417484332009-01-17T19:41:00.000+01:002009-01-21T20:47:30.639+01:00El grupo de trabajo TIRAW comenzó su andadura tras finalizar un curso organizado por el CAP de Fuenlabrada en el curso escolar 1996-1997, el cual fue impartido por los profesores del British Council en Madrid, Alison Blair y Mark Levy.<br />El grupo se denominó TIRAW debido a las iniciales de las palabras de nuestro primer trabajo: <strong>T</strong>eacher's <strong>I</strong>deas for <strong>R</strong>eading <strong>A</strong>nd <strong>W</strong>riting. Este primer trabajo fue realizado entre los años 1996 y 1998, y este último fue publicado por el CAP de Fuenlabrada como cuaderno de trabajo nº 27. Después de lo cual, uno de los artículos de trabajo se publicó en la Revista <em>Teacher Line</em> de la editorial Logman nº 12, correspondiente al segundo trimestre del curso escolar 2000-2001. Finalmente, apareció colgado en internet en dos páginas webs hoy desaparecidas.<br />Durante los dos siguientes cursos escolares, esto es, entre 1998 y 2000, iniciamos un proyecto ilusionante, habida cuenta de que empezaba a implantarse en muchos colegios la asignatura de inglés en Educación Infantil.
